Quick update

Reached Orcet today, near ClermontFerrand. Lots of Sun. First campsite on Tuesday we got stuck in the mud and needed a tractor to get us out. Walked by a canal this morning which crosses the river Allier on a huge aquaduct. Did a geocache too. Enjoying a stress free journey.

Hi
What's all this about sun?!!! It has rained here all of yesterday, some of today and is forecast to rain most of the weekend!
Have had a fairly uneventful halfterm, though did take Alastair and Andrew to the Natural History museum on Monday. Very crowded there and the circle line was out of action!
Hope you're enjoying the Auvergne- you're not far from where we stayed 2 years' ago.
Will write again soon

Missed you on the Sunday before you set off as we were at my parents - hope you have a great time. Loved driving through the Auvergne on our way to SW France last year. Let us know if the visitors area at the Millau viaduct is finished - it was mostly earthworks when we stopped there. Look forward to your next posting.
